Funter Bay
After leaving Douglas, we went down to Stephens' Passage, around the northern tip of Admiralty Island, to Funter bay. Coming around the tip of Admiralty Island we saw a pretty lighthouse on the point. Funter Bay is a small inlet that has a mooring pier. While we were there several fishing boats were docked at the pier. During the night, some loud noises woke me up. It seemed odd, but I thought John was doing some work on the boat. After it didn't stop for a while, I stuck my head out of the hatch, and saw several otters that had been playing around the pier. My opening the hatch scared them away before we could take any pictures of them.

The next day we left for Hoonah.
